I’m not sure about other countries, but London’s events business is dead. I know because I work in it and there is really very little opportunity here right now… even for those that are already established.
Dubai or other Middle East markets might be your best chance of success right now.

London is a huge town, competition is rough there. Stay in Dubai, best place to wait for the end of financial crisis. But if you got fed up with it, and you want to go elsewhere, try Libia. They just opened the country for foreigners and they need experts. Petro dollars too.

london is a lovely place to live and work in. there are quite a few filipinas here, and i think you will meet many and make a lot of friends. it is an international city and you will find people from all parts of the world. there are lots of things to do and it can be a lot of fun. its not the best place but i believe it has a lot to offer.
