In your opinion, what is the best country to live in & why?

I think it depends on what a person values the most about where they live (social freedoms, economic freedoms, culture, climate, etc). Please do not automatically say "USA!USA!" because contrary to what every American school has told you, it is a matter of opinion.

I can’t answer this because I’ve never been in another country.

Canada. No wars, no pollution, stable government….

Best english speaking country to live?

I’ve been living in Germany for the last 14 years, and I can honestly say that I don’t miss the United States. Germany is clean and beautiful, and it’s a great place to raise kids. Germany does NOT have as great as race problem as the United States, so many cultures can live pretty much together in peace. Germany has a great social system, so many people don’t have to go straight to the streets if they lose their jobs. You also get government money, (about 150€ per month), for each child that you have.

I’m not too anxious to chuck my United States passport; however, because when all is said and done, I’m still an American, with American thoughts and attitudes. There is more social freedom in the United States. This cannot be underestimated.

II’ve also lived in Japan and Turkey, been to Mexico and Switzerland, but Germany is the best!

youre never going to have it all. you have massive economic freedom in the usa, but you wont have much in terms of social freedom, as they are a racist, homophobic, religious country. i guess in terms of social freedom ladyhawk means the kkk’s right to have parades. yea i guess if you are a racist, usa is a great place because racism is considered freedom of speech. i was talking to a shop keeper at a 99 cents store in a major city in america, and i asked him what religion he was and he was scared to tell me. i guess thats real social freedom at work. you also get all sorts of religious pressure if you are not religious in america. and if you want to know about homophobia in america, just check out bruno. if you want to see more american social freedom at work, go to any of their airports and see how free you are. maybe you can ask one of the 2 million americans locked up behind bars about the great freedom they enjoy. its funny how americans are afraid to talk about sex, but racist talk is perfectly acceptable. in terms of its market, i believe they have great shopping, and doing business is very easy. things are open very long hours and on weekends and holidays. if you go to europe on a holiday, everything will be shut down, including public transport so you will be trapped. australia is kind of a mix, but is a racist country (see Mandatory detention of refugees, Cronulla riots). things still closed quite early in australia and not much was available on weekends. canada is the 51st state, and not that much different from the usa, but it is supposed to be more socially liberal, but not by much. when you compare it to europe, you realise how conservative and american canada actually is. keep in mind their prime minister is conservative and the conservative party rules canada. danmark has very good social programs, but is also racist (see mohamed cartoons), theyve also changed a lot of their immigration laws to combat foreigners. many danes with foreign spouses have been forced to move to malmo.
