Best country to live in in the European Union?
Post date: February 13th, 2010As the UK is in the European Union, I could potentially move to any other country in the EU right?
Was just curious, if I was to move from the UK, which country do you guys think has the best living? Do you think different countries would suit certain qualifications better than others?
Just curious as the other day I saw the top 25 places to live in the world and the UK came 25th and has generally gotten into a bad stateover the last few years. Places such as Lithuania came above the UK when Lithuanians immigrate to the UK in search of a ‘better life’ =/.
I totally agree with about UK being best place to live for immigrants. It makes me sad ):
My suggestion is settling in Denmark (or some other Scandinavian country).

Well it has to be Italy they do not disrespect the old, leave them to die, screw with everyone and it is the best place to live health wise. Britain is not 25th it is for british people but for immigrants it is number 1

the best place to move to if your british is spain.
the best place to move to if your from anywhere else in the EU is UK, cos you can come here and get free money, free accomodation, free medical, free schools, you can seel drugs and prostitute women without fear of getting arrested. Oh and if you want you can earn extra money on the side by working on the olympic site while the rest of us struggle. UK IS THE BEST, WELCOME ALL

Norway has been number 1 the previous 2 years in UN´s rankings.

what is best for me is not necessarily best for you
. Northern countries are safe and spaceous, society works, education is free etc. but climate is harsh and people are closed (specially Finland). I’d go for Mediterranea for climate and food – but would probably struggle finding job and get annoyed by noise. Germany? Gives me creeps. UK? Plumbing is disaster and different social classes. Netherlands? Like it but too restless….
