According to this ranking i found on aneki.com (i dont know how reliable this is), the top few countries are in asia! is it because they earn lesser but things are expensive in their country? or is this based on their standard of living?

Hi mate. Just to let you know, many Asian countries are not as poor as you seem to think you are. I don’t know whether or not you are ignorant of this (just guessing from what you wrote).

Japan is the second largest economy (ignoring the EU as a whole) in the world after the USA. Most people earn a heck of a lot of money there and while it is expensive to live in Tokyo, most of the other cities are comparable to European cities. The standard of living is definitely higher than the USA’s. South Korea, like Japan, is rather similar in the areas I mentioned; though they are not quite as rich as Japan.

I can’t say the same for Hong Kong and China, I’m surprised they beat Singapore (which is rather up there too) but Asia isn’t the cheap third world it once was.

japan and korea have very little to offer in regards to human rights. they are too far to the right. capitalism gone wild.
